Pennies From Heaven

My latest customer quilt - a beautiful wool applique done on cotton fabric.

This quilt is called Pennies from Heaven.

It was pieced by Kathy James and she did a fabulous job of machine appliqueing all those little pieces.

I had a lot of fun quilting this quilt for her.  I used 4 different colors of threads and outlined every piece of applique and then went in and did the background quilting to make all the applique pop.
